We can then find a way to make both packages build and then you simply exclude the conflicting files from the bind-utils rpm and add a "Requires: mintlib >0.55.???" to your bind-utils.spec. I don't think that I can incorporate bind into the libc in a day or two and we should therefore find a solution for the meantime. Martin: Could you try building the "corrupted" networking tools again with different headers (i. e. try to mix the ones from bind-utils and those from the MiNTLib)? Maybe by forcing bind-utils to install you have introduced some hidden problems.
